Dear SA,

I had a 92 SHO in Dark Green with Grey leather, it was a cool car. It had the Yamaha motor and 5 speed Mazda trans that caused my dealer to call the car "foreign". (made in Atlanta)
I was really disappointed how Ford abandoned this car and many other performance sedans. I was in the Mid Atlantic SHO Club where we had quite a following. Making the later cars all automatics was the beginning of the end I feel.

My buddy had one like yours with a 3.2 L motor and a ProCharger blower, it was faster than Camaro V8s and M5s of the day by quite a length.

Very cool!

Very cool Rick...

This is a car you don't understand until you drive it. It doesn't look fast, doesn't look like it handles well, and it doesn't draw a crowd; Perfect.

Unless it was modified there's no way that it would beat an M5 of the same year since the second gen M5 had ~310bhp and ~260ft lb of torque that's considerably more than the SHO.
