I have a 150FT lg driveway.
This sucker is 8-HP, 28” Wide, Electric Start.
Only cost 799 because it’s a generic model I got at my local Home & Garden store.
Honda wanted 2,300-dollars for something similar.
They can go themselves at THAT price.

I hear that, Honda makes great lawn equipment but I can't see the price. Yea I paid $530 for mine at lowes but I didn't need anything bigger because my driveway is only about 75ft long two cars wide but I wasnt' spending any more than what I did becuase it will get the job done

My last one ran for nearly 12-years, but it wasn’t doing so well last year so I decided to replace it.
It’s been serviced several times and the guy said it wasn’t worth putting any more money into.

It looks identical to the "bobo" model I bought at Home Depot 2 years ago except the color (mine's yellow, I think it's labeled MTD or something). The thing works great and this is the 3rd year it started RIGHT up with the electric cord. Last year I was glad I didn't cheap out and buy a smaller one, it was higher than the biggest storm. The only thing Sean, is check the wires and screw nuts under the hand controls, the vibration loosens them easily and quickly unless you put a little "locktite" or crimp them very well.

It finally started snowing here at 9AM.
I’ll have no problem at all when I’m leaving for home……….in THREE HOURS !!!

Tomorrow on the other hand I may be driving the wife to and from work when we get the really HEAVY accumulation.
Unless she wants to “play” in her new RAV4.
She always HATED to drive in the snow. We’ll see if that attitude changes now that she has a 4X4.

Cool deal. I was thinking about buying a snowblower, but figured that shoveling snow is the only exercise I get during the winter

I still have a bit of hand shoveling to do once the BLOWING is done.
I have two flights of steps and about 50FT of sidewalk to do as well.

THIS IS MY NEW BLOWER. BEEN WAITING ALL SUMMER FOR SNOW.

Had it freighted out from Salt Lake City

Hydrostatic, Infinitely Variable no set gears for speed.

IT's HUGE, does the sidewalk in 1 path 32" wide.

Yea, Hydrostatic is cool, (my Honda mower has it) but I couldn’t justify TRIPLE the cost.
That is the KING of consumer blowers though.
If it were 14-15 hundred I might have done it, but over two grand is NUTS !!!

No…not jealously.
I’ve been there many times and California is one of the LAST places I’d want to live.

We know our shit here that is my dream blower, but we fell into what Shawn did...too much money, especially after spending a grand for the commerical hydrostatic mower from Honda...so we got an 8HP MTD (generic) blower...
