Please recommend any good home improvement books you have read.

Right now I'm looking for something that focuses on kitchens and bathrooms. I would consider a book good if it has a lot of color photos and clear directions.

 

The popular mechanics series is pretty damn good. I used it to do some plaster and sheetrock work in my last place and some electrical.

 

The home depot ones are ok for basics. you can buy em, read em and return em within 90 days too
