Fighting and resisting the officer then you rightfully deserve the consequences. From what was on the video the girl was taken down by one officer already while the second officer hand the bean bag gun pulled. Why not help the other officer pin her down and get her cuffed instead. Im not against police using force but i thought it could have been handled better.

Anyhow, my mugens arrive today

I can't watch the video from work, but didn't the printed story say there were 75-100 kids roaming around? If I were an officer and my partner was busy wrestling with someone on the ground, I would want to be upright, looking around to see if there was anything that might happen, not down on the ground too.

i was running 225s on my tsx. so tires alone won't be the single factor that makes tl inferior to snow capability

in the video one cop goes on the bus after her and then they both storm out, the second cop comes in to help but she starts kickin and flinging her arms making it hard for either one to control her so the one with the gun shoots her in the leg by that time a 3rd shows up and she still puts up alittle fight but they hand cuff her... doesnt really show other kids.. looks more like adults in the video specially at 10 47 at night i would hope not alot of 12 year olds are out and about.. if thats the case then there is a serious issue with parents now adays..

and like i said earlier she was busted not to long ago for stealing womens purses and banned to use tri-met transportation so she shouldnt of even been on there to begin with

I got an early Xmas present too! I got my windows tinted!! 18% all around..but I need to figure out what to do with the top of the rear window where the defroster dot things would make it hard for the film to stick. I've read vinyl will work..any thoughts?
Oh and I got it done at Auto Superb in Beaverton. My buddy owns the place with another guy and it's a very clean place. They tint, detail, restore, wrap, among other things. If you guys need anything, def check them out!

My windows were tinted when I bought my car. The previous owner went to Alexia's, which is cool because I've had my last three vehicles' windows tinted there. I think they're expensive than most others, but you can't argue with the results.

The top of my rear window isn't even tinted. I talked to Speed Concept about that one day - they were trying to sell me window tinting - and I was told that it's not easy to put film over those little dots because it might come out even. I forget who I spoke to, but he said they've actually spray-painted some peoples rear windows too.

If you do put tint over those dots, I think I've read that any metallic film will interfere with the GPS antenna that's located in the rear tray behind the seats, so be aware of that.

alexia used to fill in that dots with some kind of special paint. alexia did that on my '03 accord coupe in 2003 (obviously), so not sure if they are still doing the same.

Yea my buddy said come back in a week or two and we can paint it if you want. Honestly, it doesn't bug me that much but it would look a little better without the lighter region up top. If it was darker and matched the tint a little better I'd leave it but I think Ima get it painted and just have it black up there so it look a little cleaner.

So I'm about to get my windows tinted in the next couple months (I'm sure they have lower rates in the winter times) and I was wondering if any of you have ever been pulled over for your tint--assuming the tint was legal?

Also, I was thinking about getting that Crystalline tint, would you guys get that over the ordinary 3M tint?

I haven't heard of crystalline either. I just got 18% carbon tint all around and love it so far and would recommend it to others too. Haven't gotten pulled over for it either yet :knockonwood: But it has been only three days..LOL

Yes, i know what you mean and i already have the volks that you rarely ever see around. The only bad thing about the volks is the weight (23lb?). The thing with these is that its was at a price point that i can use them as winter wheels if dont like how they look on the car and not worry to much about them.

Min, did you sell your old tsx with the rims and euro kit on it?
I see one running around the beaverton area all time and had close up look at today at bubble bubble.

i heard 3m released new tint films that have 0 heat transfer no matter what the percentage of the films are. bit costly though. running around $400 for 4 door sedans

you should be careful with 18% carbon tints. carbon tints are about ~8% darker than regular films. so yours will be around 10~11%

who is my friend? One of the guy at my martial arts school says he is the owner there. I got my tint from alexa's, 20% rear and 35% up front. Sometimes I wished I did 20% upfront but I dont need any extra attention from cops, I already have no front plate. But my back window the dots looks pretty retarded. If it gets worst i will take it back there to have it redone. It doesnt bug me too much but when i see it, it stands out

here's the link:

James is my friend. Sounds like him too..he used to be in martial arts and ish like that but I hadn't talked to him for a long time.
Yea I don't like that two-tone look so I just went for 18% all-around. I'm trying to think of a way to fix that dot thing too..I'm thinking paint like Auto Superb said they could do but I might try to do it myself. I need to figure out what paint to use tho. It's not that big a deal but like you said, to me it stands out...too much.

Oh yea! I saw this when I was researching. But not really worth it IMO. I'll take the heat reduction I'll get now vs. no tint at all.

I looked at them for a while, couldnt find any for a good price. I'm not sure about the width though, i'm tired of rubbing so I ditched all my aftermarket rims and got the a specs. Yea it was James, he drives the red civic coupe. He actually hasnt gone to class in like a month.

Haha..it's a small effin world..LOL He wrecked the Civic He's on the lookout for an Integra shell to swap the engine into tho..hopefully he can save some of that ride.
I've been trying to find the width of the rims but I can't find the specs anywhere. All I can find is that they are 19" with 5x114.3 which I know would fit our hubs but I wanna have a clue as to whether or not they'll rub. Do you happen to remember the width?

Looks like they're 7.5" wide: http://www.finishlinewheels.com/ACURA/RDX/2009/

Even though they kinda look like 3G Aspec wheels, I'm not really a fan. For OEM wheels for our 2Gs, I think that the 3G gunmetal Aspecs look great.
