Exclamation 2003-04 Accord V6 Coupe vs 2004 TSX

These are the 2 vehicles I have it narrowed down to. Yes, I know they are both Hondas. They pretty much have almost the same options.

I will be buying an auto trans vehicle w/navi.

I do enjoy the sport shift in the TSX and I do think the TSX' gauge cluster looks nicer.

I'm still not sure if it's worth giving up the 40hp.

Lets keep looks out of this since that is subjective.

Thoughts?

depends what you want more, handling or power.

Of course the TSX looks nicer. IMO

Plus, are you looking for a 2-door or 4-door car? Do you need to have one or the other?

Have you considered if there is a difference in insurance cost?

I still have to get an Accord for a day so I can flog it & really test the handling. I had a TSX today and flogged it well. It held up nicely.

I don't really need 1 or the other, but I'd buy a coupe if I go Accord because I do not like how the sedans look.

Insurance is about the same.

03 Accord V6 has the infamous automatic transmission, the 04s don't. (well some early-build 04s do, but those are rare to come by)

it seems as if you are reluctant about the loss of power if you were to choose the tsx.

grab the accord coupe.

these 2 cars were on my short list too.

If it was me i would get the tsx for the styling, handling and the fact is made in Japan.

"Made in Japan" ... that will seal the deal on all future cars that I buy. That's of course, if I decide to built a kit car myself when I retire.

With an auto trans, the TSX is about the slowest car on the road. Get the v6 honda.

I have an '03 Accord EX-V6 coupe in Black/Black to offer, 35k miles, but it doesn't have navi... oh well..

The TSX seems like the tighter car, plus you get the advantages of an Acura dealer (for whatever that's worth).

Just buy the TSX and you won't see your car as often as an Accord coupe where you'll see about 5-6 of the same car a day.

I don't think the accord coupe makes up a large portion of accord sales.

Think both are kinda bland styling wise cause -one they dont really have much to their designs to begin with and -two they both have been out for a while now.

Its personal preference but the places I drive my car, 98% of the time require the handling abilities of a school bus where extra power can be used at any point. I think the new 06 coupe has a nicer look overall on the streets and would be my choice but that sounds like its out of the question.
