SOLD! Alpine IVA-D300 Radio For Sale

Hey guys i have a Alpine IVA-D300 radio for sale. Used in excellent condition, i have all the wires, the box and the user manual. I upgraded to a newer model radio, so this one has to go. I'm looking for $800 shipped OBO, all reasonable offers will be considered.

Winner of a 2004 Consumer Electronics Show Innovations Award for excellence in design and engineering, Alpine's groundbreaking IVA-D300 DVD receiver offers PulseTouch™ technology, a system of vibrations and sound that simulates the feel of real buttons and sliders on a screen that's completely flat. It even simulates different sizes and contours for different buttons, so you'll be able to whip through the system without taking your eyes off the road.

When you're parked (with the emergency brake engaged), you can use the 7" LCD as a display for your DVD movies and videos (it'll play DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs, as well as your conventional, store-bought discs).

Details:
» motorized, retractable 7" LCD video monitor
» PulseTouch™ display
» DVD menu direct-touch control
» monitor angle adjustment
» plays DVDs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3 and WMA discs
» displays MP3 file information
» Bass Engine® Plus
• 4-channel time correction
• 3-position high-/low-pass crossover
• bass and treble center frequency control
• subwoofer level and phase control
» MediaXpander
» XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio controls
» multi-zone capable
» iPersonalize
» visual EQ
» MaxTune SQ tuner
» Ai-Net CD/DVD changer controls (IPOD Compatible with KCA-420i)
» audio/video inputs
» navigation input
» rear camera input
» audio/video outputs
» 3 sets of 2-volt preamp outputs
» 18 watts RMS/50 watts peak x 4 channels (CEA-2006 Compliant)
» DVD/CD signal-to-noise ratio 105 dB
» DVD/CD frequency response 5-20,000 Hz
» FM sensitivity 9.3 dBf
» warranty: 1 year
» designed for use with "Region 1" coded DVDs

I have a questiong regards to the FM frequency reception.
Will it able to recieve Asia's frequency? i.e. 89.0, 89.3
The reason i'm asking is because this is the unit that I am planning to install it on my car in Asia.

You might want to check this out. US tuners go in .2 increments using the odd numbers like 89.1 and 89.3, and I believe European and possibly Asian go in .1 increments, so you couldn't get 89.0 unless the Alpine is specifically made to accept it.

Some aftermarket tuners have a switch to select the increments, but I don't know if the Alpine unit has one.

I'm trying to figure out what nav version will be touchscreen on the d300..... I know that older nav units could only be controlled with the remote. Does anybody know what nav units are touchscreen with this display?

If the unit was made within the last two years it should be touch screen. I'm not 100% sure, i would recommend just giving alpine a call.

D310 is last years and the D300 is 2 years old, the main difference is that the D310 has a small LCD display on the unit itself so you can see track titles, etc if the screen is retracted. I also think the d310 has a detachable faceplate where the d300 does not.

You are Correct, the extra screen is detatchable, also the D310 is more Ipod friendly and it's faster as far as searching through playlists and stuff. Other than the ipod connection and the extra screen they are pretty much the same radio.
