FS:* 19X8 Volk GT-S mercury silver pick up only

I have five Volk GT-S +49 offset w/ Nitto NT-555 /Rays lug nut/hub rings for sale. Four good wheels one small bend on one wheel but it still drives fine and doesn't lose air pressure. I'm selling because I have a buyer for my car so I'm parting out. I bought these wheels on 4/18/06 and received them on 6/20/06. I paid $4,121.58 and I'm asking $2,800.00 firm pick only

Actually, $2,800 is a good price. Considering that there are 5 wheels and they come mounted and balance with tires, that should be an attractive deal to many. I would buy them if you were local and if they had a lower offset.

Bump for a great guy. Sad to see your car being parted. Wish I could take something off your hands. Good luck with the sale on everything, and good luck with your future projects.

Damel is a stand up, straight up guy.

If I decided to ship where could I get boxes to fit these in? If I did ship buyer would pay for the boxes and shipping.

Go to a corporate-owned UHaul. They have what they call 19" TV and 27" TV boxes. The boxes are big enough to hold 2 wheels/tires.

They're about $7 ea for the smaller ones and $10 for the bigger one.

I went to ups store today and to pack/ship 5 wheels $312.00. I knew it was going to be ridiculous.

UPS Store will rape you if you want them to pack them too.

Like I said, go to UHaul store, buy their 19" TV or 27" TV boxes. It's clearly stamped on the box itself. The 19" TV box is $7 per and the 27" box is $10. Each box can hold a pair of wheels/tires.

Then head to Fedex or FedexKinko's and ship them Fedex Ground. To save more money, go to fedex.com and setup an online account and you can print your own shipping labels. They give you about 10% discount, too.

I've shipped many many wheels this way and I never paid more than $130 to ship 4 wheels and tires cross country.

If you have Fedex near you, you can ask them about packing them and get a quote, too.

wow! that is pretty ridiculous.

by the way, i'm pretty sure the answer is no, but doesn't hurt to ask, would you be willing to sell just 4?

Yes I'm working on it. If I can just get the shipping around $150.00-$175.00.

I'm shipping now for $200.00. buying 4 won't affect the price of the wheels but shipping will be a little cheaper. I'm just giving the 5 bent wheel away with the set. $2,500.00 is still a good price for 4 wheels and tires
