Hi guys,

I wanted to let you know that I've spoken to the people at Jay Wolfe Acura and they have agreed once again to sponsor another Spring Acura Meet for us on Sunday, May 17th.

They will be doing everything we did last year. They will be clearing out the front lot for us to park our cars, they'll be cooking lunch for everyone that attends. Last year, we had burgers, brats, chips and soft drinks. We'll be handing out trophies again this year. Plus, Jay Wolfe Acura will have discount coupons for all attendees that will be redeemable for parts and/or service as well.

This is 2 months in advance, so I'm very excited about the possibility of having more people than we did last year. I think we wound up with about 44 cars last year.

Sunday, May 17th
Time: 12 Noon
Place: Jay Wolfe Acura-Kansas City, Mo., 1029 West 103rd Street (Between State Line Road and Wornall Road)

NOTE: We also have a new social group on Acurazine called the Mo-Kan Acuraziners. This is a group for all Acuraziners in Missouri and Kansas. I'd love to see people sign up for the Mo-Kan Acuraziner's Social Group. As a matter of fact, there are pictures of last year's meet on the Mo-Kan Acuraziner's page.

Steven, thanks for getting this going. I've been meaning to get one up but my schedule lately has been really hectic and I'm still waiting to see if I get laid off. I have a really messed up schedule this week but will try to get a hold of you so we can talk. As the meet isn't until May, let's get a happy hour meet together soon as well. I can't do it this coming week, but I in for the week after.

It is still up in the air for me, pending some police training I possibly have around that time. I'd still like to come, I had a blast last year. I'll find out in a few weeks whether I can go for sure or not.
