I've put about 8500 miles on these. They ride really smooth. These are a direct fit except you have to swap your front top hats for your stock suspension front top hats. It is a very trivial process.

These are good for a massive drop. Tons more room left to lower:

5. 6-MT Project Voodoo Shift Knob from Rick's S2k (Pearl Finish)
Goes PERFECTLY with interior. Matches volume knobs on the factory radio. It is also counter sunken so that it sits lower than the normal shift knob. I've had this for about a year so it has a couple small nicks.

6. Factory IM spacer, gaskets, bolts good for 7-9+ TQ
Brand new, still in honda packaging. This should work for ANY J series motor.

AFAIK, yes, they only fit the 6MT as the thread pattern is different for 6MT and 5AT.
