I just purchased a blue 06 TL with light interior. I would like to put the tints on the car but I just moved to SF couple of months ago and don't know of any shops in the area yet. Please advise on the reputable place and price if possible. I'm also not sure of how dark I could get the tints done without getting in trouble with police. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

They have done all my cars

Remember you will need the "moleskins" to lessen the chance of having tint scratched when you roll the window up and down

 

thats where i got my TL tinted at, pretty good guy and does good work, stands behind his work as well, if you have any problems with your tint job after, bring it right back and hes willing to take care of you. pretty good deal for 3M film.

speedzone only carries the cheap films btw the last time i checked.

iono, I personally didn't like the service at King Tint and went to trust auto a couple of blocks away. They charged 200 for 5 windows

 

what didnt you like? douglas has always done good work for me and many of my friends that went there

 

Have anyone ever used "Bay Car & Home Entertainment" (3829 Geary Blvd)? Do you tint your front windows as well, if so how dark? Someone told me its illegal to tint the front two windows in CA. Thanks.
